Saved Reels
Find the song in a Reel you saved earlier
A saved Reel is still a normal Reel with a normal link. Open it from your Saved list, copy the link, and paste it. The only way this fails is if the Reel is no longer there.
You’ve used your 2 free song matches.
Free is 2 matches per browser, one time. To match more Reels, pick one:
$4.99 one-time · 20 more song matches · no subscription
$9.99/month · unlimited song matches · cancel anytime
A Reel you already matched still opens free. Already paid? Restore with your checkout email.

The short route
- Open your profile, then Saved. Your saved Reels are listed with your saved posts. If you filed them in collections, open the one you used.
- Open the Reel and tap the paper plane. This is the Share icon under the Reel.
- Tap Copy link. The link should contain
/reel/. If it does not, you copied something else. See copy a Reel link. - Paste it on the home page. The match works from the audio file, so the sound can stay off. See muted Reels.
When the saved Reel will not open
Instagram keeps a saved entry after the original is deleted or hidden, but the Reel itself is gone. Without a public Reel, there is nothing to identify. Try the creator’s profile, in case they re-posted it, and the comments on any copy you find. If you remember words from the song, use the lyrics method. Private accounts are explained in private Reels.
Do it once, then write it down
When the title comes back, add it to a playlist or a note straight away. Saved Reels pile up, and the next time you search it will cost you another match. The same Reel link is not charged twice, but a different Reel is.
Questions
Where are my saved Reels?
In the Instagram app, open your profile, then the menu, then Saved. Reels you saved are mixed in with saved posts, and you can sort them into collections. Menu names change between app versions, so look for Saved.
Can I find the song without opening the Reel?
No. The finder needs the Reel link, and the link comes from the Reel itself. Open it, tap Share, and choose Copy link.
My saved Reel says it is unavailable.
The creator may have deleted it, made the account private, or removed it. A Reel that cannot be opened cannot be identified. If you remember a few lyrics, try the lyrics guide.
Does saving a Reel keep its audio?
Saving only bookmarks it. If the creator edits or deletes the Reel, your saved entry changes too, so copy the link and note the song soon after you find it.
