Guides
Pick the case on your screen
One public Reel link is the usual answer. These guides are for the screen that isn’t that simple: mute, Original Audio, Shazam’s miss, a blank credit, or a TikTok that only says original sound. The finder is the tool. Don’t open a second guide until the first procedure fails.
What this site does
ReelSongFinder takes a public Instagram link — a Reel (/reel/ or
/reels/), and also a public video post (/p/ or /tv/) when that is the
only URL you have — and matches the audio against music catalogs. A clear match returns the title, artist,
a short preview when a catalog provides one, and links to Spotify, Apple Music, or an honest search on other
stores.
It does not accept TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram Stories. It does not read captions and invent a title. Private accounts, Close Friends, and deleted clips stay out of reach. Free use is two identifications in total on this browser (not per day); the same URL later is a free cache hit; a failed fetch does not spend an identification. Packs and Unlimited are on pricing. Paid on another browser? Restore with the checkout email.
If you only remember one path: copy the public Reel link, paste it on the homepage, and read the result. The pages below are for the cases where that first try is confusing.
Start with the link
You have a public Instagram URL and you want the track name.
The song name is missing
Original Audio, a blank sticker, a voiceover, or a search that returned nothing.
You can’t hear it cleanly
Muted autoplay, a noisy room, Shazam giving up, or a sped-up or remixed hook.
TikTok and other apps
ReelSongFinder identifies public Instagram audio. These pages cover the neighboring jobs without pretending otherwise.
Still not sure which page
- You can open the clip and copy a link — find the song on a Reel or, if the post is not a Reel, find a song from Instagram.
- The sticker is blank or says Original Audio — no song name and what Original Audio means.
- The phone is muted, or Shazam heard nothing — muted Reels and Shazam alternatives.
-
The finder already ran and came back empty —
song not found.
If the paste was a
/share/URL, open the share link. - Copy link gave you a profile, or the audio page has no song — what the clipboard is and the song isn’t on the audio page.
- This phone has no Instagram app — find the song without the app.
- The Audio tool search is empty — the song isn’t in music search.
- The clip is a TikTok, not an Instagram Reel — TikTok song finder or YouTube Shorts or a watch page on YouTube song finder. Do not paste those URLs here; the finder will reject them. Compare all three in Reels vs TikTok vs Shorts.
